Weku Yarns Bukom DK

We are delighted to introduce Bukom DK by Weku Yarn owned by Game of Wool finalist Lydia and her sister Hannah.

Working with a mill in Yorkshire, they have developed a custom blend of Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) fleece and Corriedale fleece, to produce a soft yet durable DK weight yarn.

With this wonderful blend of fibers, Bukom DK is perfect for colourwork, cables and texture – from sweaters and cardigans to hats and shawls. The BFL adds a lovely sheen and drape, whilst the Corriedale adds a bounce to the yarn.

Once you finish your project make sure to wet block it with a small amount of wool wash as this will soften it and make it bloom.

There are 11 colours in the collection which have all been dyed to ensure consistency across your projects. If you prefer hand dyed yarn, we also have hand dyed 100g skeins in the same blend.
