Indigodragonfly Impervious Kit

Impervious is a uniquely stunning shawl that uses specifically dyed yarn and short rows to create layers of waves or flame shapes. The structure of the shawl is a series of "cast on" and "cast off" rows with the "pattern sections" in between. As the shawl gets wider, the pattern sections become more complex and may incorporate multiple rows/sets.

The shawl is worked in mostly in garter stitch, with dice controlling the random element of design elements to create a unique shawl.

The most important part of preparing for your Impervious Shawl is choosing yarn that will work with the pattern, and a kit takes all the guesswork out, and you can't help but create a beautiful shawl.

The yarn in our kits is Chameleon Sock, which is a soft and luxurious blend of merino, cashmere and silk.

The finished shawl will measure Small (Large) 156cm/61.5" (203cm/80") long (along neck edge). 43cm/17" (81.5cm/32') deep. The kit includes 3 skeins of specially dyes Chameleon Sock yarn, dice and a digital pattern which will be emailed separately. You'll also need a circular needle of around 3.5mm – 4mm (or to get gauge) 80cm/32" or longer, stitch markers (both removeable and stationary) and a tapestry needle to sew in ends.
