Please note: Due to supply problems Shade 73 is out of stock. We think that a great substitue is Jamieson and Smith Shade 92. We think that this is an excellent substitution and complements the colours really well.
This is just a kit of the wool for the The Islesburgh Toorie. The pattern is only available from the Shetland Wool Week website here
The hat, which is named after the Doull family farm, has been designed by Anne, and features a distinctive Shetland Ram motif, a tribute to the family involvement with the Shetland Flock Book. The inclusion of the print of the wave lace pattern celebrates Margaret’s skilful knitted lace. The colourways are inspired by the many natural shades of their Shetland flock and the heather filled hills and sunset views from the farm.
The kit contains 1 ball of each yarn colour. For the official J and S colour way, it is suggested that you have 2 balls of Yarn A if you are knitting the larger size (56cm / 22")
