Description
These textured slip-ons are fantastic for keeping the feet warm and cozy both around the home and on the road. When wearing the slippers, the all-over garter stitch texture gently massages the feet in a satisfyingly therapeutic manner. The overall minimalist style of Kate Atherley’s design can be adorned with pom poms or crochet embellishments, which is a great way to use up some leftovers from another project using &Make Super Bulky yarn.
The soft enveloping warmth of &Make Super Bulky, made from 100% Peruvian Highland wool, makes these slippers a truly luxurious and serene foot experience.
Yarn:
The Fibre Co. &Make Super Bulky (100% Highland wool, 80 m (87 yd) per 100 g ball) in shades Soft Love, Indigo Child, or Serious Shade – 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) balls.
Construction notes:
The Flushed Feet Slippers are worked in garter st, flat in one piece starting at the toe. The heel seam is created using a three-needle cast-off and to close up the toe, a small seam is worked. There are three embellishment options provided in the pattern – a simple pom pom, a crocheted flower and a crocheted button. If you’re not comfortable with crochet, the pom pom is a fun and easy option, but if you’re feeling adventurous, we’ll give you all the guidance you need to make sweet flowers or buttons.
