Armthwaite is a cropped sweater featuring bold twisted rib lines and an oversized silhouette.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair, 218 m /238 yd per 100 g hank) in Castlerigg - 5 [6: 7: 7: 9: 9] hanks.

Construction notes:

The garment is worked from the top down in pieces and then seamed.

Recommended ease:

Designed with 15 cm (6 in) of positive ease.

Gauge:

26 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over twisted rib pattern using 4mm (US 6) needles.
24 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st pattern using 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
